Long Swamp fish and frog study report now available to download
After completion of the field work late in 2012, we are now pleased to be able to publicly release the Long Swamp Fish and Frog Study report, which provides a more detailed overview of the fish survey results provided in a previous blog, and the overall survey findings as presented to the Nelson Community in December 2012.
A big thank-you to the Glenelg Hopkins CMA for commissioning the study, as well as the Nelson community (especially the Nelson Coastcare Group) and Parks Victoria for their fantastic practical support.
Subject to funding, we hope to build on this important baseline study with future work in Long Swamp, to help further progress the discussion about management options for this nationally important wetland.
