Oddball fundraiser screening in Mount Gambier a huge success – thanks for your support!

Last Wednesday we were absolutely delighted to be joined by 220 people, young and old, who packed out the Oatmill Cinema in Mt Gambier for a premiere screening of Oddball, the night before its official release date.

Thanks to the Oatmill Cinema and Village Roadshow Film Distributors, proceeds from the fundraiser screening will now help Nature Glenelg Trust continue to provide volunteer coordination support to the Warrnambool Coastcare Landcare Group (WCLG) over the coming penguin monitoring season at Middle Island, a successful partnership we have had in place for the past 3 years.

And in case you are wondering, yes – the movie (a creative adaptation of the basic story of the penguin colony at Middle Island) was great fun! I’d highly recommended it for families or as an outing for grandparents seeking something to take the kids to in the upcoming school holidays.

Best of all, it was filmed in our region at Warrnambool!

The movie is now showing at the Oatmill Cinema.

Thanks to the Oatmill Cinema for their support!
