This shot was taken by NGT’s Jonathan Tuck at Maam Reserve in Allansford, near Warrnambool, Vic.

Maam Reserve is a small wetland reserve with a number of significant flora populations, including the Basalt Leek Orchid (Prasophyllum viretrum) which is endemic to the Western Volcanic Plains. Nature Glenelg Trust is currently delivering a DEPI (Victorian Environmental Partnerships Program) project at Maam Reserve. If you are keen to find out more, additional project information can be found here.
