This shot of Ptilotus macrocephualus was taken in the Dry Creek Native Forest Reserve, one of SA’s great short walks (see the brochure here). It’s one of the places you’re likely to see signs of the Common Wombat, and – just maybe – a Swamp Antechinus (link)!
