Volunteers needed… Start something amazing at the St Aubin’s Planting Day, Saturday July 4!

If you’re keen to make a difference to habitat in the upper South East, there’s a big planting day coming up early next month! It all kicks off on Saturday July 4 from 10am til 4pm at the St Aubin’s property (just across the road from Eaglehawk Waterhole) near Frances, SA.

NRSE’s Landscape Links project is in the process of establishing wide vegetation corridors to link patches of remnant bushland, including Bangham Conservation Park and Little Desert National Park. Corridors are being planted in a number of restoration properties in the Bangham area – including St Aubin’s and NGT’s Eaglehawk Waterhole, among others.

It’ll be a great day to make a positive impact on the environment, with a large number of plants going in the ground (more than 5000!) and sharing the experience with a bunch of like-minded people. Lunch is provided and tea/coffee will be available all day to keep us going.
