Walker Swamp campaign update with six weeks to go… a great time to get on board!

It has been a couple of weeks since the last update, but thanks to the fantastic support of 77 donors so far, we’ve just passed the $54,000 mark!

To be precise, at the time of writing our tally had reached $54,265.

and the live tally is…

0%

These 77 donors (and their families) are now on the invitation list for our exclusive supporters event to be held on-site on World Rivers Day (Sunday the 23rd of September).

If you’d like to join us for a great spring day out, and make a tangible difference to wetland conservation in western Victoria at the same time, please consider getting on board with the project today. Remember, any donation over $2 (which is tax-deductible) is all that it takes!

By the way, because we have the low-level trial structure in place (within the Stage 1 project area), Walker Swamp is just starting to fill to its interim restored level from local rainfall, while we wait for catchment flows to arrive. Here is a view of the wetland from last week…
