Celebrate our volunteers with a BBQ at Nobles Rocks – for National Volunteer Week on Sunday 17th May
“Established in 1989, National Volunteer Week is the largest celebration of volunteers and volunteerism in Australia, and provides an opportunity to highlight the role of volunteers in our community and to say thank you to the more than 6 million Australians who volunteer.”
So, what better way to close out National Volunteers Week this year, than to join us on Sunday the 17th May at Nobles Rocks for a BBQ, in a beautiful spot in Discovery Bay, to say thanks to the volunteers that helped us fill, lift and shift almost 7000 sandbags last month?
While you are there, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the Long Swamp Restoration Trial, and see the unfolding results for yourself.
Because we are putting on a free BBQ, registrations are essential, and specific details for the day will be provided after you get in touch.
So what are you waiting for?
