NGT recognised in the 2019 Glenelg Hopkins Environmental Achievers Awards

Nature Glenelg Trust received two awards atthe Glenelg Hopkins Environmental Achievers Awards ceremony held recently in Hamilton. We were presented with the Waterways Award for the Walker Swamp project and, in a new category for this year, Lauren Brown’s Mulloway Tagging project received the Innovation Award.  The awards have been running for more than a decade and recognise people in our community who put a lot of work into improving the health of our land and water.

To be recognised alongside so many great past and present recipients is a real honour, and a very fitting reminder that we work among a wonderful community dedicated to enhancing and understanding our environment. On behalf of all of us at NGT, we would like to thank the Glenelg Hopkins CMA for this recognition and also congratulate all of the other award recipients and nominees.
