The restoration of Lake Hawdon North – Video presentation

The Basin Waterbird Network is a forum for the sharing of knowledge and building of relationships amongst those working in the area of waterbird science and management across the Murray-Darling Basin.

In April, Ben was asked to give a presentation to the Network on the recently completed restoration of Lake Hawdon North.

Luckily for us, the presentation was recorded, so you can watch it here:

Over 37 minutes, Ben takes a deep dive into the environmental history of the lake, how the restoration project came to be and the anticipated ecological outcomes.

So why not make yourself a cup of tea, and give it a watch!

The restoration of Lake Hawdon North was supported by the Australian Government and the Government of South Australia under the Healthy Coorong Healthy Basin program.
