Farewell, and back to the Sunshine State for Alix…
It is hard to believe but time is up for NGT’s first work placement University student – Alix Baltais, who begins the journey back home this week.
None of us can quite work out where the last few months have gone, but one thing is for sure – both Alix and NGT have benefited greatly from the experience. As well as taking the lead with the Eared Worm-lizard project, Alix has spent time helping out Cath and others on a range of our projects through the busy spring period.
To say farewell to Alix and round out the year, we had a small NGT gathering around the camp fire at my place on Sunday evening.
Thanks Alix – and best of luck for the future!
