Update on Wetland Restoration Case Study 1 – near Heywood
A couple of weeks ago Dan and I managed to check on our First Case Study site near Heywood, looking great after the excellent July and August rains. The restoration works are having the desired effect, with the wetland getting close to its new full-supply level.
As we keep on eye on this site over the coming months, we’ll keep the Case Study page up to date here.
With a bit of luck, the heavy rains in the last couple of weeks should now have this wetland close to full – we’ll check again next time we are in the area and post another update soon. Exciting times…
