Presenting to the Hamilton Field Naturalists Club

Last Thursday evening I had the pleasure of meeting with the Hamilton Field Nat’s, and was given the chance to share some of my experiences with wetland restoration and re-instatement from nearby in the South East of South Australia.

At the end of my talk, when I realised I had been talking for a little longer than I had planned – (which is easy to do when discussing a topic you care about!) – it was nice to hear that everyone in attendance had thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Given the interest the group has in wetlands, I’m hoping that our new organisation will be able to get some projects happening soon in the Hamilton district and give us the chance to work together. Thanks to the group for making me feel so welcome.

I visited Bryan Swamp in the afternoon before the presentation
