Nature Glenelg Trust officially recognised as a charitable institution in Australia
In the last month, I have been advised by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) that Nature Glenelg Trust’s application for registration as a charitable institution in Australia has been endorsed.
The certificate (below) arrived a few days ago, and the details of our registration can now be viewed on the ACNC website.
We are still waiting on NGT’s application for Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Status to be processed (this is a separate process, that will hopefully enable us to offer a tax deduction for donations into our Public Fund), but the charitable institution status is certainly a big step in the right direction!
