A beautiful bird call in the bush…
I’m the first to admit that bird call identification is not my strength, so last week when I stepped outside at home to hear a really beautiful call in the forest, I quickly grabbed my phone to take a recording.
I had a hunch about what it was, later confirmed by Bryan Haywoood (thanks Bryan!) – and it turns out it was an Olive Whistler, a species we don’t hear or see very often.
