It’s a way off, but be sure to circle Friday August 29 on your calendar as NGT will be hosting the world’s foremost echidna expert Dr Peggy Rismiller for our final Up Close event for 2014. Peggy is making the trip down to the Mount for a talk about elusive echidnas and goannas, and her experiences as a research ecologist on Kangaroo Island. It’s sure to be a fascinating hour! The free talk starts at 7pm at the Mount Gambier City Hall (enter via Cave Gardens) with refreshments afterward, and is suitable for all ages – so bring the family along.

Get a pen out and have a go at those calendars… and for more information, send an email to or call 0432 406 486.
