The recent long weekend saw about 20 people make the journey to Eaglehawk Waterhole Restoration Reserve for a few days of birding, with a good amount of insect and plant hunting thrown in, and even some fencing!
Cassie Hlava from Natural Resources planned the event as part of her Landscape Links program with the aim of repeating a survey commenced a couple of years ago. The birders were pleased to see Hooded Robins and Wood Swallows, while the flora enthusiasts managed to add NINE orchid species to the property species list!
