Final reminder to book your place for the First Anniversary celebration at Walker Swamp

Our community event at Walker Swamp on Sunday the 29th of September is fast approaching, so this is your final reminder to register!

The day is a chance to bring together past and present NGT supporters from near and afar, to share in the success of the evolving restoration project at Walker Swamp.

At the community event, you’ll hear from NGT ecologists, like our Project Manager at Walker Swamp, Greg Kerr.

You’ll be able to see how the site has changed since last year’s event, learn all about the finer details of the project and ask questions of NGT staff – all while experiencing the transformation of the wetlands now underway during this first spring after major works. You’ll also get to mingle with other like minded people, relax in a beautiful setting and enjoy the spectacular views over Walker Swamp from the relocated (and now fully enclosed) bird observation tower.

So, if you have made a donation to one of our projects previously, volunteered with us, or supported our work in some other way, NGT would love you to be our guests for the day!

For any new supporters who may wish to register now, please note that donations (of any amount) can also be accepted on the day of the event (all donations over $2 are tax-deductible) or any time prior by following this link. At the time of writing we are still edging closer and now have less than $8,000 left to raise to eliminate our funding deficit on land purchase costs.

and the live tally is …

0%

To reserve your place and confirm numbers attending (we’ll be providing a free BBQ lunch and places are limited, so RSVPs are essential), please hit the button below to register.

Come and see the restored Walker Swamp, and the magnificent backdrop of the Grampians for yourself!
