Fun at Wild Wetlands Day
Wild Wetlands Day was held at the beautiful Riverglades Wetlands at Murray Bridge on Saturday 18 April. There were more than 250 people through the door and the organisers have received overwhelming positive feedback from those who attended. The day included a wide range of activities including kayaking tours, carp fishing competition, volunteer celebrations, snake shows, BBQ lunch, show bags, live demonstrations and displays, nature walks and interactive displays and activities. There was an Aquasave-NGT display, organised and run by Sylvia, which included information on current projects, education material, a fish display tank, and fish making craft sessions which were a favourite with the little tackers who came along.
