Join us for coastal fun at Robe

Over the next two weeks, Jess will be hosting a number of activities as part of Robe’s school holiday program. But the fun isn’t limited to kids – our activities are open to all ages, so come along!

Sustainable Fishing, Thursdays – 30th September and 7th October

During the sustainable fishing events, participants learn about fish habitat and how to fish using fish friendly tackle and handling. All equipment is provided.

Beach Combing, Fridays – 1st and 8th October

Take a walk with a marine biologist along Long Beach and discovery what wonderful things the waves have washed in and where they come from! If you’ve ever found something strange on the beach and wondered what it was, this is the event for you.

A jewel-like shark egg – maybe we’ll find one at Robe?

Water Bugs, Fridays 1st and 8th October

At Jumbos Landing we’ll use scoop nets to see what bugs are living in Lake Battye! Participants will learn about the important wetland environment and the important part water bugs play.

Please visit the Robe Holiday Program website to browse and book events.

The Robe Holiday program is supported by the District Council of Robe.
