Ken’s first week with NGT

Ken’s first week with NGT

On Monday this week, Ken Baker officially started in his new role with NGT, as the Co-ordinator of the Cross-border Community Nursery and Seed Collections Project.

Ken has recently moved down from Coonabarabran NSW, where he was the Regional Landcare Facilitator for the East Namoi.  He has previously worked on a wide range of NRM projects in various parts of Australia including water quality in the Border River’s catchment of NSW/QLD, shorebirds and feral cats on King Island and riparian revegetation in South West Victoria. His diverse experiences and enthusiasm for what the project is about make Ken a great addition to the NGT team. Welcome Ken!

Ken and Becky will undergo a few weeks of hand-over, after which Becky will continue with NGT in a part-time capacity organising the series of upcoming biodiversity events across the region. More information on the events will be available very soon, so watch this space…
