Look what came down in the last rain… the Autumn 2016 environmental event calendar is here!
Autumn seems to be on its way and luckily for us there’s lots of activities planned for the SE SA/ SW Vic region over the next few months. A wide range of friends groups, NGOs, environment departments and threatened species recovery teams have planned a bunch of engaging events where you can get outside and learn more about the amazing environment around us.
The calendar includes festivals, talks, bushwalks, bird outings, working bees and workshops – so there’s loads of opportunities to get out and about while making a positive difference.
Just in the next week there are Middle Island Maremma tours, rural shows, Clean Up Australia Day activities, and a free gum tree-themed talk and walk with renowned Eucalypt expert and author, Dean Nicolle.
So we’ll see you out there, and you can click here for a .pdf version of the Autumn calendar (0.9Mb)
