Mt Burr Swamp Media – the last word in print and on the airwaves from 2016

Before the recent festive season slow-down kicked in, a couple of items reached the media to round out a massive 2016 for NGT and the Mt Burr Swamp project in particular.

Just before Christmas, a really great synopsis of the Mt Burr Swamp project appeared in the Advertiser. It was written by highly respected state political columnist Dean Jaensch, whom I had the pleasure of meeting when he visited the site a few months earlier.

A few weeks earlier, I made a final appearance in the ABC South East studio for 2016 to chat about the completion of the Mt Burr fundraising campaign and the incredible generosity of the Nature Conservation Society of SA (NCSSA) who helped us reach our ambitious target of $110,000. The President of the NCSSA, Michael Stead, also joined us on the line for part of the conversation.
