NGT Awarded a State Natural Resource Management (NRM) Community Grant
Yesterday I was delighted to receive written notification from Paul Caica, Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation in South Australia, informing us that NGT has been awarded a State NRM Community Grant under the 2012-13 program.
The $25,000 grant will enable NGT to work closely with a range of other community groups and NRM organisations involved in environmental programs in the South East of SA, to promote and co-ordinate a series of public events in 2013 that will help connect local people with the fantastic environmental project work currently happening on the ground in our region.
