Photo of the week – Spiranthes australis – Austral Lady’s Tresses

During a recent visit to Stipiturus CP to plan upcoming proposed restoration works, we came across a small group of flowering Spiranthes australia – one of our more spectacular native orchids.

This is just one of many important species that rely on our threatened swampy habitats that will benefit from the proposed works to improve the hydrology of Glenshera Swamp.
