Ramsar community workshop coming up on the 4th of June in Nelson

An important project being led by the Glenelg Hopkins CMA and DELWP to seek designation of the Glenelg River estuary and wetlands of Discovery Bay National Park as a “wetland of international importance” under the Ramsar Convention, is now underway.

While staff at NGT are contributing our ecological knowledge to help support this process, the public are also invited to take part.

If you are keen to learn more, you can meet with the project team responsible for compiling the necessary information, who will be on hand to answer any questions next week in Nelson.

Here are the details:

Where: Nelson Community Hall

When: Thursday, June 4,  from 11am to 2pm (Vic time)

(tea, coffee and lunch provided)
