Summer holiday fun at Beachport this January with Coastal Connections

If you’ll be around Beachport, SA this summer holidays check out Wattle Range Council’s Coastal Connections program! There’s a fantastic line-up of activities for all ages, including rockpool rambles and estuary discovery activities led by NGT’s Jess Bourchier plus Indigenous cultural events, shorebird sessions, and more.

Whether you’re familiar with the reef or have never explored a rockpool, there’s always something interesting to see in the intertidal zone! Below are a few photos of creatures you might encounter.

During the estuary discovery (held at Southend) you’ll learn about wetland birds and estuarine fish while wading through the shallows.
