You are invited to Gooseneck Swamp on Saturday the 14th December 2013

Nature Glenelg Trust and the Hamilton Field Naturalists Club invite you to join us on Saturday the 14th of December for an informative bushwalk at Gooseneck Swamp in the Grampians National Park, near Dunkeld. As well as the opportunity to learn about the natural values of the site, you’ll have the chance to hear about the story of the Gooseneck Swamp wetland restoration trial.

The trial consists of a sandbag structure installed by Nature Glenelg Trust with the support of community volunteers in August 2013 and this is your chance to see the results for yourself! A BBQ lunch & refreshments will be provided.

Places are limited, so for more information & to reserve a spot RSVP now to Lauren Kivisalu at NGT: 0428 977 358 or .

This project is supported by the Glenelg Hopkins CMA and Parks Victoria, and funded by a DEPI Communities for Nature Grant.

The amazing diversity of wetland life at Gooseneck Swamp includes species like this Swordgrass Brown Butterfly, seen at the site a few weeks ago
