Your last chance to book a spot at our special celebration at Walker Swamp this spring

As we reported previously, thanks to the generous support of over 200 donors, on 30th June 2023, NGT successfully settled the purchase of an additional 390 acres of land adjacent to the northern end of Walker Swamp. We also promised that we’d hold another event out there in the spring this year to celebrate with our supporters, and are now excited to be able to share the details with you!

On Saturday, October 7th 2023, you are invited to join us at the Walker Swamp Restoration Reserve – a day with walks, family activities and a free BBQ lunch.

This immersive experience in nature will include talks and various hosted activities like birdwatching, as well as a hike to the newly protected bushland area adjacent to the northern end of Walker Swamp.

If that is too formal for you, then just come and sit by the fire, have a hot cuppa and mingle with other like-minded people, before our BBQ lunch.

Registration to attend this special event is FREE for project supporters who have previously donated to NGT or the recent Walker Swamp fundraising campaign. However, places are limited so make sure to book your ticket today!

If you are keen to come along and haven’t made a donation yet, then it isn’t too late. For more information on the project and how to donate please visit our Walker Swamp Donation page on our website. Donations can also be accepted on the day of the event.

To book you place, please follow this link, or click on the button below.

We look forward to seeing you there!
