Closing out a very different year for NGT, plus the release of our 2020 Annual Report

To end what has been a very different year for all of us, we decided to go with the flow and hold the annual NGT workshop online last month. As many of us are now finding with meeting this way, it actually worked quite well and enabled us to include some staff who may not have been able to make it otherwise. Here is most of the team that were able to attend!

We covered a lot of ground and have some good ideas to pursue as we strive to continually improve how we do things and achieve tangible, lasting results from our work. As it is easier to arrange logistically, we might even catch up this way with the whole team a little more often!

In other end of year news, it is also time to share the latest NGT Annual Report, which is hot off the virtual press. If you’d like to get a sense of our achievements over the past financial year, this is a good place to go for a concise overview. For a more visual summary, we’d like to share our annual review video. We do these every year and it’s always nice to look back at some of the pictures and projects which have defined our year.

I’d just like to finish by saying thanks to our staff, volunteers and supporters for helping us get through another big and especially challenging year in 2020.

Across the whole team, we’ve still managed to really make a difference with our environmental work and maintain the passion in what we do – something I am especially proud of.
