Do you have any old landscape photos of the Discovery Bay Coast?
As a follow-up to a recent Blog about an old article on the Bridgewater Lakes, we are asking for people to consider if they have any old landscape photos of wetlands along the Discovery Bay coast – particularly Long Swamp (but any others would be fine too) – to help us understand the nature of environmental change in this part of the region. The photos that were in the 1978 article are reproduced below, along with the same view taken again recently in 2012. Needless to say, these pictures are quite revealing – telling a fascinating story of change. Please click on the images to enlarge them.
