Orange-bellied Parrot Information Session and Field Walk

Want to know more about the recovery program of the Orange-bellied Parrot (OBP) and how to be involved in the winter mainland searches?

NGT is holding an event in the south-west Victorian region, starting with a presentation in Koroit which will include the current progress of the OBP recovery, why it is such a threatened and iconic species, and what people can do to keep a sharp eye out for the parrot across its coastal winter range.

Following the presentation, people are invited to join a walk and search at a nearby key coastal habitat, to put their new-found skills to the test.
