It was World Wetlands Day last week (on the 2nd of February) which means the latest edition of Wetlands Australia Magazine has hit the virtual shelves.
This time around two NGT stories feature, including:
- an article by our ecologist Lauren Veale about the latest native fish monitoring results from Long Swamp
- a story about NGTs purchase of Mt Burr Swamp, by yours truly.
Plus there were two other interesting local stories as well that are well worth a read:
- a story by the Glenelg Hopkins CMA about the wetlands of the internationally signficant Budj Bim cultural heritage landscape
- a great summary of the incredible restoration of farmland at Iluka Estate, by Steve Clarke from DEWNR in Mt Gambier
