World Environment Day 2021 – NGT interview with Rod Sparks on ABC South East

On last Saturday, the 6th June, I caught up with Rod Sparks in the Mt Gambier ABC studio for a wide-ranging chat about wetland restoration, environmental change in our region and NGT’s latest big news – the Mt Vandyke restoration project in western Victoria – to celebrate World Environment Day 2021.
Somewhat fittingly, the theme for World Environment Day this year is “Reimagine, Recreate, Restore” – which pretty much sums up our mission at NGT!
This theme for 2021 is also an appropriate way to kick off the UN Decade of Restoration, a topic we recently explored in the NGT newsletter if you are interested to learn more.
